Noteworthy News!!

I'll keep this short and quick as I'm sure everyone is at full throttle now...

  1. The web glitches with band width issues has been resolved! Due to the gradual trend of increased visits to our website, it became necessary to expand our web hosting plan. What a nice problem to have. We are pleased to see that has become the "go-to" source for everything MVGCSA! Our ship is at full throttle too. Jump on board!

  2. The Opening event at Westwood CC was a huge success! Thanks to Corey Witzman, Josh Jackman,  Ryan Wilkinson and their crew. Check out the photo's and sponsors in the gallery section of our website, they will be posted in the next couple of days. I have an apology for all participants in this event however. I had stated before teeing it up that I would record the scores for all players. Unfortunately, I neglected to snag the score cards after the round. My pic of the scoreboard only reflected team scores and not individual scores. Sorry! Please log-in to GHIN through our website and enter your score for that event. Go to Westwood CC, white tees (blue tees for seniors) and enter your score.

  3. The Assistant's Opening event at Crescent Farms was also a great outing. Thanks to Curt Rohe, Executive Director of MAGA, for speaking before golf. Also a big thanks to Bob Ide, Superintendent for hosting this annual Assistant Superintendents event. Pics of the good times will also be in our photo gallery by the weekend.

  4. Registration for the Chapter Challenge - May 21st, between MVGCSA and SIGCSA at The Legends CC is NOW OPEN! Given the sell out success at Westwood CC, I encourage anyone interested in playing in this Chapter Challenge to enter you names now! Go to the website! Deadline is 1 week from today - May 17th!

  5. Annual MVGCSA membership dues will be arriving soon in your "snail mail" boxes. Thanks for your continued dedication and commitment to your professional association!

  6. Take a minute or two to check out all the cool stuff now at your finger tips on our updated website courtesy of Tim Doll aka "Lamma". (He is the Dahli Lamma of our website engine.) Membership roster, Affiliate contact info, new member welcome section, a blog, employment offerings, just to name a few, are all right there within easy access. Thanks Lamma!

  7. That's all for now!
